Judicial Services

Judicial Services consists of  the Warrants Unit, Civil Process Unit, and the Bailiff/Transport Unit.  

The Warrants unit is responsible for serving arrest warrants as well as all enforceable process issued by the court.

The Civil Process Unit is responsible for serving all non-enforceable process issued by the court.

The Bailiff Unit is responsible for courthouse and courtroom security.

The Transport Unit is responsible for the transportation of inmates within the county as well as inmates throughout the state.

Warrant Information

The Leon County Sheriff's Office does not release any information on outstanding warrants over the phone. Warrant information may be acquired via a background check at our Records Division, located at the Administration building on 2825 Municipal Way, Tallahassee, Florida. For current fees please call (850) 922-3317.

If you have information that may lead to the apprehension of a wanted fugitive, please call the Warrants Division at (850) 922-3451, after hours and weekends, (850) 922-3300. You may remain anonymous.
