The Leon County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking motivated individuals with an interest in criminal justice to participate in the Sheriff’s Office internship and citizen volunteer program. Besides gaining knowledgeable experience, the student will pave the way for possible job opportunities.
The LCSO Citizen’s Volunteer program allows citizens the opportunity to participate in the day to day operations of the Sheriff’s Office. Volunteers are assigned to the various departments and divisions within the office where they work side by side with Sheriff’s Office employees. Volunteers are exposed to the behind the scenes workings of the Sheriff Office and assist employees in every aspect of LCSO operations.
